Current Projects with Burgard:

Lucie is working on the Michigan Recession and Recovery Study, studying the relationship between health behaviors and indebtedness, and employment strain and health.

Research interests:

Lucie is broadly interested in the links between socioeconomic inequalities and health behaviors. Aside from her current project with Dr. Burgard, she is also pursuing studies examining applications of bioethics in everyday medicine, and medical decision making of terminally ill patients.

Experience/Employment:

Prior to coming to graduate school, Lucie works at the National Opinion Research Center. Currently, she works as a research assistant at the National Poverty Center.
